Baillet, Francis, Vice-President, Human Resources, Ubisoft (Montréal)
An actuary and Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Francis Baillet, since May 2007, has held the position of Vice-President, Human Resources of the Ubisoft studios in Québec. The company currently has over 1800 employees at its Montréal and Québec City studios.
Mr. Baillet supervises all of the company’s human resources services, a strategic position for the achievement of Ubisoft’s ambitious growth objectives. Mr. Baillet’s many simultaneous responsibilities include organizational development, compensation and benefits, recruiting, project reassignment and international mobility, internal training, the Ubisoft Campus and internal communications. Francis Baillet has over fifteen years of experience in human resources management. Before joining Ubisoft, was Vice-President, Human Resources and Corporate Services at Bell Business Solutions (formerly Nexxlink Technologies). Mr. Baillet was also Director, Global Compensation for North America at Rexel; Director, Benefits at Westburne; and consultant at Towers Perrin.
Ubisoft Montréal is the second biggest video game development studio in the world. Created in 1997, it today employs nearly 1700 creators; local designers, animators, modellers and programmers, as well as hundreds of talents from around the world.
